Mathis Elysees Hotel 

We stayed for 4 nights over new years and we booked at the last minute. We found the hotel to be in extremely good condition and the friendly interaction with the staff from when we arrived and every time we came and went from the hotel. We had a superior room which was clean and very comfortable. We had a wonderful time in Paris and the hotel I would happily recommend. Well worth the money and very deserving for the 4 star rating!

A small problem that can easily be fixed. Housekeeping did not clean the toilet while she just placed the sanitarization old dirty ribbon. Probably a random error, but since cleanliness is an important issue, I mention it to help you inprove the service.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in 3 rseperate ooms and were very satisfied with our hotel selection. Will stay again when we return.

Your hotel reception people were exceptionally helpful, and went out of their way to give us the help we needed. We arrived without luggage, and they spent a great deal of time helping us to try to locate it. Also, getting to the airport to try to expedite it was made easier and less expensive through their help. All in all, our stay was an exceptional experience despite our problems. All of our questions were answered in a polite and helpful way. We ended up with only about 1 1/2 days to visit Paris where we had planned for 5 days, but made the most of that time. Thank you we had a very nice stay, the rooms were very individual, very clean and no noise at night, given where the hotel is located was incrediable. small very Parisian and very friendly, highly recommended. We will be back.

The service was flawless. The desk clerk/concierge was absolutely phenomenal. I really wish I would have taken down his name... he was a huge part of the positive experience I had at your hotel. Also, loved the decor of my room.

WE would have liked to have known that there was also a quiet side to the hotel. Other than this your hotel was fabulous. The staff were very helpful when some problems occurred with the shower in our room. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and answered all the questions we had.

This was my third visit, prior stays have been excellent, but I was very disappointed this time. We booked the Champagne offer, however on arrival there was no other champagne in the room apart from the one in the mini bar, no glasses etc which made us uncertain. we would have asked the reception, but the night portier didn't speak english well. As we didn’t have time the next day, we didn't bother mentioning it then. The toilet was dirty and smelt bad.We told the reception on departure. What bothered us the most, was noise from other guests. Both nights in the middle of the night other guests were shouting in the halls. It would have been ok if it was guests returning from a nice night out making a bit of noise, and I would have ignored it of it only happened once. it lasted for more than 30 minutes both nights, and ruined our sleep. It didn't make our nice weekend away as nice as it should have been.I would have expected hotel staff to let people know that this level of noise is just not acceptable

THE hotel and the team are execleent along with worm fai ngmily spirit my only recommendation is to offer speacil welcome drink,fruit or anything to regular customers

I was a little bit disappointed at the size of the room and the lighting was too low. It would be great to have the lighting brighter with the option to dim them down.

Your front desk staff are exceptional. Friendly efficient and nothing seems too much trouble for them. I will have no hesitation in recommending your hotel to anyone.
