The Hotel is placed very central near Opera, Madelaine, Passage Jeoffrey and cafés and shopping possibilities, although the more expensive ones, all around. Very near to a metro station you easily can reach all the places you want. And as many visitors already said ... when you open the window you CAN hear the metro, but be prepared, take some earplugs and you can have sweet dreams in a really comfortable hotel.

Sorry that I did not try your breakfast as it is so convenient to have breakfast in Paris and there are a lot of choices. I might try your hotel breakfast next time.

The hotel is generally pretty good. Great location near the shopping area. Room size is about right for Paris (small). The hotel is located above the subway track, the sound and shaking is acceptable for being 1 floor above the ground floor. Service is a little thin at night since they only got 1 dude working watching the door. But generally the service is good and the front desk has been very helpful for arranging taxi to take a posse of 6 adults and 1 child and our american size luggages + stroller. Did not include breakfast so can't comment on that.

I was continuously annoyed by the 'clipping' sound througout the night from don't know where. Besides, there is a leakage in the shower area making the floor wet after shower. But your staff at the reception are friendly and helpful, I am happy with their help.

We really enjoyed our trip to Paris, overall the hotel was good. The room was very modern but very very small, we are used to european rooms but this was definately the smallest room we have ever stayed in, even in comparison to Rome. The staff where all very friendly, but the biggest issue with the hotel though is the noice from the subway, it was terrible. I am sure that there are many hotels in Paris with the same problem, but I found it very difficult to sleep and normally I can sleep through most things.

Message from the manager - Nathalie Dupont
Jean Guitton once said, "Man has the choice: let the light in or keep the shutters closed." These words inspired my choice of lending the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Opera Opal a soul: a hotel dedicated to the art de vivre and ravishing for the eyes! A bright idea, don't you think?
